Binary packages are supplied for some databases and architectures, basically the ones I use most. The binary packages can be installed by unpacking them in a directory where Tcl will find them. Additional binaries are allways welcome.

Basic packages

The pkgtools package is needed to run the implementations. The dbi package defines the dbi interface, and depends on the interface package. It is not needed to run the implementations of the interface.
  • interface-1.0.0-src.tar.gz
  • interface-1.0.0-noarch.tar.gz
  • interface-1.0.0-noarch.zip
  • dbi-1.0.0-src.tar.gz
  • dbi-1.0.0-noarch.tar.gz
  • dbi-1.0.0-noarch.zip

    Implemenations

The following binary packages implement the dbi interface for a specific DBMS and architecture.

    Sqlite3

  • dbi_sqlite3-1.0.0-Linux-i686.tar.gz
  • dbi_sqlite3-1.0.0-Linux-x86_64.tar.gz
  • dbi_sqlite3-1.0.0-Windows-intel.zip

    Firebird

  • dbi_firebird2.0.0-Linux-i686.tar.gz

    ODBC

  • dbi_odbc1.0.0-Windows-intel.zip

    Older binaries

    Linux Mandrake 7.2

These RPMs may work for other distributions as well, but I have not tested that. The interbase binaries have been created with FirebirdSS-1.0.0-0a.Beta2. Download and install. If these do not not work for you, you can compile from sources
